Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Paramedics to provide basic and advanced patient care on 911 responses and medical transports. You will use defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and IV therapy, while leading the Paramedic team on scene when needed.

The role requires a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide care information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader, manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
