Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics for part-time and full-time positions to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include on-scene leadership, advanced medical interventions, and efficient ambulance operations.

Required credentials include WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P, ACLS and PALS, a valid State Driver’s License, and a pass of Physical Agility Test, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P required.
  • State Driver’s License required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • Must pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills with medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV) to provide advanced care.
  • Communicate with patients and families to explain care being provided and build trust.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and oversee scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

Part-Time/Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.
OtherResponsibilities:
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
MinimumRequiredQualifications:(Must have proper certifications)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P
  • State Driver’s License
  • ACLS, PALS
  • Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
  • PassPhysical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Pay Range:

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE (Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
