Position Summary:

Responds to emergency medical calls and provides patient care as directed and necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate's Degree preferred; graduate of a recognized program in discipline; validated by current state licensure.

License:

• Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P).

Certifications:

• Current valid Iowa Class D driver's license and Iowa EMT or Paramedic certification. Motor vehicle record submission required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Minimum Work Experience:

• Experience as a First Responder, EMT, or Paramedic preferred (paid or volunteer).
