Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Paramedic located in Broussard, LA. The Paramedic will be responsible for providing emergency medical care in remote environments, ensuring patient stabilization and safe transport. Daily tasks include assessing patient conditions, administering first aid and life support, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. The role also involves maintaining medical equipment, documenting patient care reports, and participating in regular training and continuing education sessions.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Paramedic certification
• Experience in emergency medical care and patient assessment
• Strong skills in administering first aid and life support
• Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job
