Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE. We seek compassionate, high-quality patient care and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include assessment, advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and IVs; lead the scene; drive the ambulance; and collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Join AMR as part of Global Medical Response to deliver emergency medical services and patient relocation support.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license active in state.
• Current BLS/ACLS; NREMT-Paramedic preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Pass physical agility test.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action.
• Utilize paramedic skills with equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene/unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
