Job summary

AMR is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time position in Tennessee. Hourly rates start at $21.50 with DOE. Responsibilities include leading the scene, delivering advanced medical care, and driving ambulances on 911 calls.

The role requires state-paramedic licensure, a driver’s license, and current BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, with a history of healthcare experience preferred. Must pass agility tests and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action using paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on equipment to provide advanced medical care (defibrillator, EKG, oxygen, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
