AMR in Troy, Tennessee is actively seeking a Paramedic for a full-time, on-site opportunity. The role offers hourly pay starting at $21.50 plus DOE, with comprehensive paramedic responsibilities on emergency calls and patient care.

The position requires statewide paramedic licensure, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, and a valid driver’s license, with a preference for healthcare experience and the ability to lead a field team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relationships.

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy

• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
