PRN Ambulance Paramedic Job Description

PRN Ambulance is seeking Paramedics to join our expanding team. We prioritize your health, career development, and professional growth. Join a company with a strong culture and a commitment to employee well-being.

Compensation: $33.29-$40.18/hr.

Job Summary

Paramedics provide emergent and non-emergent medical care during patient transportation. They travel to partner facilities, patient homes, or events, working alongside EMTs or other clinicians to deliver quality care at the required treatment level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT transports and scene calls, both emergent and non-emergent.
  2. Provide high-quality basic and advanced life support in accordance with CA Title 22, local scope of practice, and PRN policy.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • At least two years of driving experience.
  • Valid California driver’s license.
  • Current EMT-P certification.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association (including AED).
  • PALS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • California Ambulance Driver Certificate (DL 61).
  • DL51 Medical Examiners Certificate.
  • LADOT Ambulance Driver Permit.
  • Current local, state, and federal training as required.
  • Ongoing education to maintain industry standards.
