Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Paramedic in El Centro, CA for a full-time role. The position offers a $15k sign-on bonus with commitment and an hourly pay range of $21.68 to $35.71.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, delivering advanced patient care with defibrillators and IV therapy, and leading scene management while coordinating with emergency teams and community programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CA Paramedic License required.
• Imperial County Paramedic License required.
• CA Ambulance Driver’s License required.
• BLS ACLS from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance of care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Engage in community programs to support AMR image and community relations.

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.

• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• CA Paramedic License

• Imperial County Paramedic License

• CA Ambulance Driver’s License

• BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association

• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
