The Native American Rights Fund (NARF) seeks a Paralegal in Boulder, CO, a hybrid role requiring commuting distance to the office. The position supports Tribal Water Institute attorneys across complex litigation, from pre‑filing through appeals, including discovery, trial prep, and administrative proceedings.

Required are ABA‑accredited paralegal credentials (preferred), 4–5 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Office/Adobe and litigation software skills, with familiarity in ECF filings.

Formación

• Paralegal certificate from ABA-accredited program preferred.
• Minimum four to five years of relevant work experience, preferably at the federal court level.
• Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office and Adobe products; experience with litigation management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with diverse groups.
• Experience with court filings, including ECF; ability to manage documents and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage large‑scale document handling (hard copy and electronic) and Bates labeling.
• Prepare, review, and organize documents for production requests; create chronologies and charts.
• Support trial and appellate preparation: pleadings, motions, briefs, exhibits, and filing readiness.
• Perform legal and factual research using Westlaw/Westcheck and other sources.
• Coordinate meeting materials, prepare presentations, and support interdepartmental projects.
