Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our TPA and COE operations. You will review routine contracts, prepare and organize legal documents, and perform regulatory research under attorney direction.

This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related laws, plus solid Microsoft Office skills. A paralegal certificate and 5+ years in healthcare-focused legal support are preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of relevant paralegal, legal support, or compliance experience supporting healthcare TPA, self-funded employee benefits plan, health plan administration, claims administration or related legal matters.
• Experience reviewing administrative services agreements, provider network agreements, business associate agreements, or healthcare vendor agreements using approved templates or playbooks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work, identify inconsistencies, and follow matters through completion.

Responsabilidades

• Review routine business contracts against templates, playbooks, and guidelines; summarize key terms and escalate issues.
• Prepare, review, and organize playbooks, legal documents, correspondence, forms, certifications, regulatory submissions, and other materials under attorney direction.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research related to TPA and COE operations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ACA requirements.
• Prepare responses to third-party complaints, reviews, and audits by gathering and organizing records and tracking deadlines.
• Responsible for TPA’s licensing, including preparation and filing of annual reports and other filings due to regulators.
• Identify legal and compliance risk and propose remedies with an action plan.
• Assist with subpoenas, medical record requests, regulatory inquiries, audits, and information requests.
• Maintain complete and accurate Legal Department files and matter data in management systems.
