Job summary

The Virginia State Bar seeks an Assistant Clerk of the Disciplinary System to provide professional administrative support across District Committee, Disciplinary Board, and Three Judge Circuit Court panels. You will handle case records, notices, and official documents.

Ideal candidates will have a legal background, strong organization, and experience with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, plus the ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a legal background and the following requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the disciplinary system, managing case records and issuing notices.
• Prepare monthly dockets for volunteers and staff, and monitor cases on appeal before the Virginia Supreme Court.
