Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm to find an experienced Paralegal Supervisor. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage the paralegal program with a focus on supervising paralegal staff across California. The Paralegal Supervisor will play a crucial role in assigning matters, coordinating schedules, leading initiatives, and promoting best practices within the paralegal department.

Responsibilities
  • Assign work to paralegals and coordinate workloads, workflows, and demand forecasting in collaboration with senior paralegal leadership and supervisors in other offices.
  • Assist with project work as needed to ensure best practices are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a liaison with attorneys and business professionals to ensure paralegal services consistently meet or exceed expectations.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and use of departmental metrics, including utilization, billable hours, workload distribution, satisfaction measures, and work-product quality.
  • Actively manage workload equity to promote balanced distribution of hours.
  • Coordinate with paralegal leadership, California office management, and Human Resources on recruiting efforts and onboarding for California paralegals.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver continuing education and in‑house training programs; identify ad hoc training needs on active matters.
  • Participate in regular department meetings and conduct one‑on‑one meetings with paralegals.
  • Maintain administrative records, including attendance and paid time off tracking.
  • Participate in the annual performance evaluation process and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development guidance.
  • Address personnel matters, including preparing written recommendations for disciplinary action or termination when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a comparable law firm or corporate legal environment.
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
  • Highly detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Copilot.
  • Thorough knowledge of the litigation process, including litigation support and discovery management practices.
  • Must meet requirements to practice as a paralegal under California state law.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
Required Work Hours

The Paralegal Supervisor position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with typical work hours aligning with the firm’s first shift schedule.

Benefits
