Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Paralegal Specialist in Midland, MI, to provide paralegal support across multiple legal topics (excluding Litigation) as part of the Core Legal Practices Client Services team. You will review client requests for gaps or risks, ensure timely delivery, and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and outcomes.

The role emphasizes initiative, judgment, and teamwork in a fast-paced, global legal department, with a focus on consistency, inclusion, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and commitment to earn Bachelor's degree within three years; or relevant military experience at U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in a professional legal role.
• Experience with contract/agreement processing, reviewing, drafting, negotiating, redlining, and amending.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming client requests, proactively assess such requests for gaps or legal risk, and apply work process standards to complete such requests.
• Adhere to established standards to drive consistency in service while identifying inefficiencies or ambiguity.
• Meet or exceed turnaround times and positively impact team metrics.
• Work autonomously and balance individual success with the team, backing up colleagues as needed.

Education
