Job summary

Land Title is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Colorado Legal Department, supporting litigation, eDiscovery, subpoenas, and complex real estate transactions. The role interfaces with operations, underwriting, risk teams, and outside counsel to resolve curative title issues and manage escrow/1031 exchanges.

You will handle title curative work, document drafting, and diligent tracking of deadlines while supporting fraud risk and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years paralegal experience in law firm or corporate legal department
• Experience in real estate transactions and title insurance is required
• Meaningful litigation support and eDiscovery experience desired
• Experience handling subpoenas and legal process with redaction skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google tools is expected

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for intra-company inquiries to the Legal Department
• Manage subpoenas, legal process & correspondence with centralized tracking
• Support eDiscovery, litigation, agency claims, and issue documentation
• Assist with curative & corrective title work and complex real estate transactions
• Assist with 1031 exchange and long-term escrow operations
• Support insurance, audits, and regulatory compliance activities

Associate/Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google workspace
