Hach & Rose, LLP in New York City is seeking a bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role requires independence, organization, and a client-first mindset to support attorneys in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of NY personal injury paralegal experience, familiarity with NYS/NYC court rules and electronic filing, and strong communication skills to service diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal handling New York cases.
• Strong understanding of NYS and NYC statutes, court rules, and legal procedures.
• Experience with electronic court filing systems in New York.
• Familiarity with SmartAdvocate (preferred but not required).
• NYS Notary Public license or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrates empathy, confidentiality, and a client-first mindset.
• Punctual, accountable, and committed to going the extra mile for clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure all deadlines and statutes of limitations are met.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including: Notice of Claims; Summons and Complaints; Bill of Particulars; Discovery Demands and Responses; Notes of Issue; Subpoenas; Trial preparation materials.
• Electronically file legal documents in compliance with NYS and NYC court rules.
• Prepare demand packages and support attorneys with discovery and case development.
