Job summary

Naman Howell in Austin is seeking a paralegal with 2+ years of commercial loan document experience to join our office. The role encompasses loan document review, drafting, and closings coordination, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The position is full-time, with standard hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and a profit-sharing/401(k) plan after one year of service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience in commercial loan documents.
• Fast learner and proficient with cloud-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, organizing and preparing loan documents.
• Drafting initial versions of promissory notes, security agreements, deeds of trust, and UCC financing statements.
• Reviewing Texas property title commitments, land surveys, and UCC searches to clear exceptions.
• Entering attorneys’ time and assisting with monthly billing cycle.
• Opening new cases in the firm’s internal system and filing documents.
• Maintaining confidentiality for all cases and performing e-filing.
