About the Role
We're looking for a collaborative individual to join our team as Legal Operations Paralegal. In this role, you will support accurate, timely, and scalable delivery of corporate legal and transaction-related services, with primary accountability for syndication support, corporate entity and licensing management, UCC management, and legal operations process improvement. You will maintain high-quality legal records and coordinate deadline-driven work while examining existing processes and implementing practical improvements and automation that strengthen consistency, visibility, efficiency, and risk management. You will also serve as a lead subject-matter resource for assigned legal operations areas, independently owning complex matters and cross-functional process improvements and advising management on matters that can materially affect compliance, service quality, efficiency, and risk.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate syndication transaction documentation and closing support, including preparing, reviewing, organizing, and tracking required documents to support accurate and timely execution.
- Maintain syndication records, documentation status, and follow-up items in accordance with established procedures and matter requirements.
- Maintain corporate entity governance and compliance records, coordinate annual and other required filings, monitor good standing, and support registrations, business licenses, permits, and bonds.
- Examine existing legal and administrative workflows to identify inefficiencies, duplication, control gaps, and opportunities to simplify, standardize, document, or automate work.
- Lead the design and implementation of standardized or automated workflows across relevant stakeholders, and advise management on process, control, and service improvements with meaningful impact on compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate UCC filing management activities and maintain related records, tracking, and documentation to support timely and accurate completion of required actions.
- Act as a lead subject-matter resource for complex or non-routine UCC matters, independently determining approach for exceptions and advising Legal or business partners on priority, risk, and recommended next steps.
- Support special projects focused on legal technology adoption, operational efficiency, data quality, risk reduction, and scalable legal service delivery.
- Partner with Legal, Technology, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to design, test, implement, and improve workflows, templates, dashboards, reporting, and automation solutions.
- Lead cross-functional legal operations and technology projects from problem definition through implementation, establishing the approach, milestones, stakeholder coordination, and success measures for complex initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, or in a comparable corporate legal support role.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, deadline-driven assignments involving cross-functional business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and document procedures or workflows.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education: College/University degree preferred.
- Experience with corporate entity management, business licensing, UCC management, legal records, compliance-related work, or financial transaction documentation.
- Experience with legal technology platforms such as DocuSign CLM or Insight, Salesforce or Service Cloud, Filevine, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Experience contributing to workflow automation, process improvement, system implementation, user acceptance testing, legal analytics, process mapping, dashboarding, reporting, or low-code automation tools such as Power Automate.
- Experience supporting fleet, asset management, mobility, banking, financial services, or another operationally complex business.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, processes, or workstreams and providing technical or process guidance to professionals and business partners without relying on formal authority.
