Amentum is hiring a Paralegal/Legal Assistant I to support case preparation under close supervision. The role involves researching sources, filing legal documents, and compiling subpoena packets to assist Attorneys.

Strong emphasis on accuracy and timely data extraction is required. Candidates should have a paralegal certificate or be enrolled in ABA-accredited law school with one year completed, plus at least one year of litigation paralegal experience.

Qualifications

• Must obtain MRPT credentials; US Citizenship required for MRPT at this location.
• Paralegal certificate or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study; one year of legal training or two years of college may substitute.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience is helpful; automated litigation support experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Consult prescribed sources of information for facts relevant to program matters.
• File documents including nondisclosure orders and search warrants with sealing orders; comply with courthouse to read-ins.
• Review documents to extract data and information for specific items; compile subpoena packets.
