Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Completed, or will have completed by the internship start date, coursework equivalent to at least one year toward an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Currently attending a college or university within commuting distance of Omaha, Nebraska.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and time/project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support paralegals with document review and analysis, fact gathering, legal research, drafting legal documents, and other assigned projects.
• Assist paralegals in supporting labor, employment, personal injury, real estate, regulatory, transactional, and other legal matters.
• Organize and maintain accurate electronic legal files and matter records.
• Coordinate with external legal vendors and counsel to support onboarding and documentation.
• Track and process legal invoices and related administrative items.
• Support efficient legal matter management through accurate recordkeeping and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to follow legal and administrative procedures.
