Office of the Illinois Attorney General in Illinois seeks a Paralegal I to perform regulatory compliance reviews, contract analysis, and trial support under attorney supervision. Requires paralegal training or degree and experience in legal services; strong written and verbal communication essential.

Position is in-office, with duties including document reviews, discovery responses, and preparation of legal memoranda and exhibits for review.

Formación

Requires an Associate Degree (Bachelor Degree preferred) in business law or legal studies or completion of an approved paralegal training program.
Requires two years of advanced clerical work experience in a legal services operation or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; interpret contracts, financial statements, and other complex documentation.

Responsabilidades

Performs regulatory compliance review of documents and reviews financial statements.
Maintains extensive oral and written communication with corporate and legal representatives of registrants.
Analyzes contracts, leases, building specifications and other materials; writes legal memoranda and prepares routine legal documents for attorney review.
