Job summary

The Tenant Law Center (TLC) is seeking two paralegals to join our team. The positions support three staff attorneys and handle intake, negotiation, and basic litigation tasks, along with essential administrative duties to meet grant requirements.

Regular full-time roles include comprehensive benefits such as medical/dental/vision, HSA/FSA, PTO, holidays, and a 403(b) plan. Temporary positions may have limited eligibility for some benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with legal coursework or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Experience in social services or eviction/landlord-tenant matters preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to document data accurately.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake sessions for new clients and gather relevant information.
• Provide negotiation and legal information with supervision.
• Assist supervising attorney with litigation by drafting papers and gathering evidence.
• Organize client files and prepare closing letters and memos.
