Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie in New York is seeking a paralegal to support one of our Global Structured Products Partners. You will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on cross-border structured securities, gaining substantive legal experience.

The role offers training and growth in a fast-paced environment with a focus on financial markets and structured products. You will be part of a leading team advising banks on notes, warrants, and related instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, GPA guidance in the 3.0+ range.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interest in finance.
• Ability to work in a team and independently on tasks.
• Availability to support early operations including 5am ET start and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Documenting and managing structured securities issuances governed by English, French or New York law for European and US clients.
• Support European-based clients with a 5am Eastern Time start on working days.
• Communicate regularly with clients and other legal counsels regarding outstanding deals.
• Assist with filing deals with European regulators and the U.S. SEC.
• Maintain detailed records of client deal history and perform crucial administrative duties.
