Job description

Our client, an elite family law firm, is seeking a Matrimonial/Family Law Paralegal, to join their winning team in White Plains.

Our candidate of choice will bring a minimum of three years’ experience in matrimonial and family law, with a strong preference for candidates that are working exclusively for matrimonial attorneys.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Manage our existing paralegal along with the legal assistants of the firm.
• Responsible for assisting the attorneys with child support calculations, compiling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Assisting in client communication and drafting of statements of net worth.
• Proofreading legal drafts and regular client interactions.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• You must be able to hit the ground running and know how to help the Firm work on a file, with minimal training/guidance.
• Knowledge of NY courts and court procedures is a must.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule, and to multi-task.
• Advanced knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
• Must be able to analyze legal documents for accuracy.
