Job summary

Affinex Capital in Tucson is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support its in-house legal and corporate operations. You will handle litigation support, corporate governance, and compliance while maintaining meticulous records and confidential files.

The role requires 2+ years in legal support, familiarity with estate planning concepts, and strong organizational and communication skills. Arizona LP license preferred; proprietary document-management tools and CRM experience are valued.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of legal assistant or paralegal experience. Estate planning, probate, corporate, litigation-support, or regulatory experience is preferred.
  • Working familiarity with estate planning documents and concepts, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple matters and files at once.
  • Proficiency with legal or matter-management software, secure document management systems, and standard productivity tools, including CRM and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Paralegal certificate and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. An Arizona Legal Paraprofessional (LP) license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and privileged information appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in-house counsel with litigation support, including document organization, discovery logistics, filing and service coordination, and deadline tracking, in each case under attorney supervision.
  • Maintain corporate records and entity files, organize contracts and related documentation, and track signature and renewal status.
  • Organize and maintain legal files within the company’s document management and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Support compliance by tracking licensing, registrations, and regulatory filing deadlines, and by maintaining compliance records.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline internal legal-operations processes and improve file and workflow management.

About The Role

A growing Tucson-based financial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support its in-house legal and corporate operations function.
