Brown & Streza, LLP seeks a detail-oriented paralegal for the Estate Administration team in Irvine. The role demands exceptional client service, strong time management, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities include supporting attorneys, coordinating with financial advisors, preparing court filings, and managing subtrust documents. A 38-hour week with a half-day Friday, and a hybrid schedule await.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of paralegal experience.
• Experience in estate administration or estate planning.
• Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or attorney attestation.

• Meet with attorneys and clients to discuss assigned matters or projects.
• Support attorneys in preparing for court appearances and client meetings.
• Liaise with financial advisors and third parties to obtain necessary documentation.
• Prepare court petitions and related judicial documents.
• Communicate with courts.
• Submit court filings and deed recordings.
• Track and calendar court hearing dates, filing deadlines, and administrative timelines.
• Prepare subtrust funding documents, including trust allocation statements and deeds.
• Coordinate the transfer and re-titling of assets, including real property, financial accounts, and business interests.
• Maintain and manage estate administration matters and files.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to work in our Estate Administration team. What You'll Do

Compensation

• $65,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience, and qualifications)

What You’ll Bring

Required

• Minimum of two years of paralegal experience
• Experience in estate administration or estate planning
• Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or attorney attestation
• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and proofreading abilities
• High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environment
