Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Paralegal to support the General Counsel and six attorneys in Transportation, Equipment and Vendor Finance matters. The role covers corporate governance, board activities, and regulatory licensing, with emphasis on eDiscovery and litigation support.

Responsibilities include preparing board materials, processing invoices, maintaining records, and coordinating with external counsel and vendors to ensure timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Paralegal or law clerk certification required; knowledge of discovery processes.
• Experience with e-discovery workflows, AI tools, and legal procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support General Counsel and six attorneys across litigation and regulatory matters.
• Prepare and maintain Board resolutions, governance records, and committees materials.
• Process legal invoices and monitor matter data for spend management.
• Assist with licensing, regulatory filings, and compliance initiatives.
• Support litigation activities: document review, subpoenas, discovery, and correspondence.
