Zusammenfassung

BMO seeks a Paralegal to support the General Counsel and six attorneys across Transportation, Equipment and Vendor Finance matters. The role covers corporate governance, eDiscovery, licensing, and litigation support with extensive document and data handling.

Responsibilities include research, regulatory compliance, invoice processing, and collaboration with internal partners and external counsel to ensure timely resolution of issues. Strong legal and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Post-secondary law education e.g. Paralegal, Law Clerk certificate, legal assistant or in-house training from a law firm/organization.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and maintain Board resolutions, officer appointments, corporate records and governance materials.
• Support attorneys with legal and regulatory research and document review; coordinate with external counsel and vendors.
• Manage eDiscovery processes including holds, collection of ESI, chain of custody, review workflows and production protocols.
• Process legal invoices and assist with spend management and reporting.
• Handle regulatory licensing efforts and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
