Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or minimum 6 months drafting discovery documents and discovery responses.
• Typing speed of at least 28 wpm with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with office equipment (calculator, fax, copy machine).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills.
• PC experience including Word and Excel; knowledge of legal software a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist attorneys with preparation of responses to discovery and meet with clients as needed.
• Assist with preparation of cases for trial and send out discovery requests.
• Monitor compliance with discovery and prepare motions when appropriate.
• Assist attorneys with investigation of cases and obtain records via subpoenas.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other documents.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and others to obtain information.
