AbbVie is seeking a Paralegal to join the Operations, Purchasing, and Corporate Affairs Legal team. You will maintain templates, negotiate contracts, and advise AbbVie businesses on legal obligations in consultation with attorneys.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, creating templates, and guiding business clients while prioritizing multiple projects. A paralegal certificate or equivalent and 3+ years of contract negotiation experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree and / or relevant legal education (Paralegal certificate).
• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience including significant experience in negotiating contracts and in using/working with AI tools.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), organization/analytical, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail, flexibility, and project management abilities.
• Must be able to multi-task, analyze information, understand client needs, set and manage own work priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and manages a variety of transactional agreements, including master services agreements for all types of services, professional services and consulting agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, business technology agreements, and amendments, with supervision of an attorney.
• Assists attorneys with the creation of contract templates.
• Independently identifies problems, performs analysis, proposes solutions, and provides guidance directly to business clients.
• Assists attorneys in managing and resolving complex legal issues on projects or negotiations involving multiple disciplines within legal department and/or multiple functional areas or divisions within AbbVie.
• Represents Legal Function internally to clients, across all levels of management, and externally to customers and suppliers.
