Job summary

Wilshire Law Firm in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Paralegal for our Consumer Class Action Department. You will manage state and federal court filings, docket calendars, handling discovery, and coordinate depositions for complex litigation.

You will work with a team of professionals dedicated to Excellence, Teamwork, and Integrity, communicating with clients, experts, and defense counsel, and supporting pre-trial preparation from drafting documents to organizing exhibits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in class action law and filing in state and federal court.
• Advanced knowledge of filing procedures, including e-filing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
• Litify or Salesforce experience and bilingual in Spanish huge plus.
• Type at least 40 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Calendar and manage court deadlines.
• Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal court.
• Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner.
• Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
• Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

• $75,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
