Job summary

Voce invites applications for a Paralegal role supporting the SWAN Legal Services Initiative in PA. You will draft documents, coordinate hearings, and assist witnesses to advance permanency for children in the welfare system.

Preferred candidates have an Associate's or higher, or a paralegal certificate, and 5+ years of related experience. Hybrid/onsite collaboration with county offices is expected.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of legal processes and child welfare matters.
• Experience supporting legal proceedings and filings.
• Ability to coordinate with county offices and caseworkers.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents for solicitor review, including petitions, orders, motions and stipulations.
• Participate in county court hearings and pre-hearing conferences.
• Assist with lay and expert witness preparation for testimony.
• Facilitate and/or train on approved LSI training topics.
• Support county best practices.
• Conduct searches to locate permanency resources and coordinate with caseworkers.
