Job summary

Voce seeks Paralegals for the SWAN Legal Services Initiative to support permanency efforts in the Pennsylvania child welfare system. Paralegals draft petitions and court filings and assist in hearings and witness preparation, ensuring timely progression toward permanency.

You will collaborate with county caseworkers and participate in trainings, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of LSI services.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of legal processes or child welfare practices is preferred.
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree or paralegal cert preferred; 5 years experience may substitute.
• Ability to conduct legal research and locate permanency resources with counties.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents for solicitor review (petitions, orders, motions, stipulations).
• Participate in county court hearings and pre-hearings.
• Assist with lay and expert witness preparation for testimony.
