Job summary

CGS, doing business as Contact Government Services (CGS), seeks an entry-level Paralegal in Miami, FL to process electronic legal instruments, assist with trial preparation, and provide broad legal support for a large federal agency.

You will support the Litigation Support Unit and attorneys, review instruments for completeness, and help assemble discovery materials. A two-year degree is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions.
• Good oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Process electronic legal instruments and assist with trial preparation.
• Review legal instruments for completeness and proper execution.
• Provide direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys, and paralegals as needed.
• Assist with discovery productions and data/evidence processing.
• Assist with preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstratives.
• Collect and compile statistical data for reports.
