Education and/or Experience: High School diploma required (or equivalent), Paralegal Certificate is preferred with candidate having 3 - 4 years patent and trademark prosecution experience.
Patent Prosecution experience is required. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficient with USPTO Patent Application Information Retrieval (PAIR).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills a must.
Language Skills: Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to respond to and resolve common inquiries complaints or conflicts with customers, vendors, employees, peers and management. Ability to speak effectively on the telephone and in person. Ability to effectively present information to others.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to use and understand basic math. percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to perform well under stress when confronted with emergency situations. Attention to detail.
