Qualifications

• Four years of experience through combinations of paralegal certification, two-year paralegal degree, or paralegal plus certificates.
• Experience supporting an attorney as paraprofessional is acceptable.
• One year as Paralegal 1 in Washington State Service is an alternate pathway.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage formal discovery requests and responses, organize and track voluminous discovery.
• Interview witnesses, analyze facts, develop issues, and coordinate with experts.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, manage documents, and assist at mediation and trial.
• Draft letters and pleadings, conduct research using Westlaw and related resources.
• Coordinate with experts, manage contracts, and securely provide records.
