The Attorney General’s Office in Spokane, Washington is recruiting for two permanent full-time Paralegal 2 positions in the Social & Health Services Section. These roles, located in Spokane, are represented by WFSE.

The Paralegal 2 salary range is $62,880 to $84,528 annually, effective 7/1/2026, with base pay varying by knowledge, skills and experience. Washington State offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, leave, PERS, life insurance and more; plus flexible

Qualifications

• Combination of four years of experience through: Paralegal certification, Two-year paralegal degree, Paraprofessional experience in support of an attorney.
• OR One year experience as a Paralegal 1 in Washington State Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide general litigation support to Assist Attorney General in discovery and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, affidavits and correspondence necessitated by litigation.
• Independently monitor assigned cases, investigate facts, research and identify potential witnesses.
• Coordinate meetings between the AAG, experts, clients, counsel and other parties; monitor trial deadlines and exhibits; assist with subpoenas and attend trial.
