Soap Creek Resources seeks a Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff Side) to support attorneys from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of litigation experience and can work in-office in Westbury, Long Island.

You will draft and file legal documents, manage case files, coordinate depositions, review medical records, and assist with lien resolutions and settlements. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years' experience as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Must be able to work In office - Westbury, Long Island.

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including complaints, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Manage case files and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), and court appearances.
• Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Communicate with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
• Track case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trials.
• Assist with negotiating and finalizing lien resolutions and settlements.

Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff Side)

The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement or trial. This role requires the ability to work with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
