Henderson Group seeks a Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff Side) to support attorneys through intake, discovery, and settlement or trial. The role requires interacting with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel from its Westbury, Long Island office.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least four years of litigation support experience. The position offers a competitive salary up to $80K plus performance bonuses and benefits.

• 4+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Must be able to work In office - Westbury, Long Island.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including complaints, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, and court appearances.
• Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Communicate with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
• Track case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trials.
• Assist with negotiating and finalizing lien resolutions and settlements.

Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff Side)

The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement or trial. This role requires the ability to work with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Communicate with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
• Track case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trials.
• Assist with negotiating and finalizing lien resolutions and settlements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
