Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking a remote full-time paralegal to support a national litigation team handling toxic tort and product liability matters from inception to resolution.

You will manage case files, draft discovery, summarize medical records, coordinate expert materials, and assist with trial support and e-filing in state and federal courts. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required.
• Experience in Toxic Tort and/or Product Liability preferred.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and expert reports.
• Trial prep experience is a plus.
• Strong civil litigation procedures and case management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files through all phases of litigation.

• Summarize medical records, timelines, and exposure histories.
• Coordinate expert materials, depositions, and trial notebooks.
• Prepare and file pleadings in state/federal courts and track deadlines.

Job description

This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work alongside a nationally recognized litigation team handling sophisticated toxic tort and product liability matters.

As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys and play an integral role in managing complex toxic tort and product liability cases from inception through resolution.

What you'll do

Case & File Management

• Manage case files throughout all phases of litigation.
• Maintain organized electronic files, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence.
• Track case deadlines and assist attorneys with case preparation, litigation support and trial readiness.

Discovery & Document Management

• Draft and prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Organize, review, and analyze large volumes of documents and records.
• Assist with document productions, subpoenas, and privilege logs.
• Prepare factual summaries, medical chronologies, timelines, and case summaries for attorney review.

Medical Records & Exposure Analysis

• Review and summarize medical records, pathology reports, occupational histories and exposure documentation.
• Assist attorneys with exposure histories, causation evidence, and damages-related documentation.
• Prepare detailed medical and factual chronologies for attorney review.

Expert Witness & Trial Support

• Coordinate expert witness materials, reports, depositions, and scheduling.
• Prepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and arbitration.
• Prepare and electronically file pleadings and legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Manage court deadlines and litigation calendars.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements.

Attorney & Client Support

• Draft legal correspondence and routine litigation documents.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain responsiveness and accountability in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
• Prior experienc e in Toxic Tort and/or Product Liability litigation strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records, expert reports, and technical documentation.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and case management practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Litify or similar case management systems preferred.
• Experience with state and federal court e-filing systems.
• Experience with document management and e-discovery platforms is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required;Paralegal Certificate, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
