Job summary

Pacific Cascade Legal is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal for a fully remote role with Washington experience. The position offers a $55,000-$75,000 annual salary and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days.

Prior Washington family law experience is required, and candidates may reside anywhere. The ideal candidate will draft pleadings, manage case files, and coordinate with courts and clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Family Law Paralegal experience.
  • Washington family law experience required.
  • Paralegal certification or relevant experience in lieu of certification.
  • Experience with legal case management software preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and client-focused.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with Washington family law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain and organize electronic case files, calendars, deadlines, and case-related tasks.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding case updates, document requests, and next steps.
  • Assist with discovery, including gathering, organizing, reviewing, and preparing documents.
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other third parties as needed.
  • Assist attorneys with hearing, mediation, settlement, and trial preparation.
  • Monitor case deadlines and proactively assist attorneys in keeping matters moving forward.
  • Provide additional case and administrative support as needed.

Family Law Paralegal - Remote (Washington)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $55,000-$75,000 per year + monthly bonus opportunities

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
