Job summary

Aivana Limited seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of litigation, including discovery, filings, and trial preparation in Toledo, Ohio. Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in healthcare or medical claims.
  • Proficiency with litigation support software such as Relativity, CaseMap, Trial Director.
  • Knowledge of Ohio court procedures and electronic filing systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial documents.
  • Track and maintain case deadlines, court filings, and document production.
  • Organize and manage electronic and physical case files, exhibits, and witness materials.
  • Support trial preparation including exhibit lists, deposition outlines, and trial binders.
  • Review and analyze medical records, claims, and insurance documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution support.
  • Maintain accurate calendars and assist with e-filing in Ohio courts.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and external contacts to ensure smooth case progress.

About the Role:
The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys across all phases of litigation, including discovery, filings, and trial preparation. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with healthcare or medical claim litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial documents.
  • Track and maintain case deadlines, court filings, and document production.
  • Organize and manage electronic and physical case files, exhibits, and witness materials.
  • Support trial preparation including exhibit lists, deposition outlines, and trial binders.

  • Ability to work independently in a small-office environment.
