The City of Seattle, Office of Labor Standards, seeks a Paralegal to support enforcement and related teams with records management and compliance work. You will report to the Enforcement Director and perform intake, investigation, and legal documentation tasks.

As part of this mission, we are seeking a Paralegal to support the Office of Labor Standards (OLS) enforcement team and other teams in their organizational and record-keeping support related to enforcement. You will report to the OLS Enforcement Director.
In addition to the ability to perform the tasks described above, you will need to possess the following required qualifications or a combination of education, training or experience that provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class:
This is a full-time, civil service position that is eligible for overtime and is classified as a Paralegal. This role is classified under the step progression compensation program and is non-represented.
CompensationThe full pay range for this classification is $41.44 – $48.31 hourly. New employees begin at Step 1 of the pay progression, which is $41.44 hourly. Current City employees’ starting rate of pay will be based on Personnel Rules.

Working ScheduleThis position offers a hybrid work schedule. Employees will be expected to work in-person three days a week. Individual schedules will be based on agreement between the employee and their supervisor.
Hiring Timeline:First interviews for this position are tentatively scheduled for October 19-23, 2026. Second interviews for this position are tentatively scheduled for November 2-6, 2026.
