Job summary

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is seeking an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our Philadelphia team. This is a 100% in-office position with no remote work. We value teamwork, excellent communication, ownership of tasks, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, familiarity with legal research, and experience handling paperless files. A background/drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from ABA approved program required.
• Familiarity with web-based legal research services.
• Experience working with paperless files; iManage is a plus.
• Must successfully pass a background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of a civil case for trial.
• Ability to summarize medical and employment records, create medical chronologies, summarize discovery responses, prepare meet and confer correspondence.
• Motion writing experience, such as oppositions to motions including discovery motions, motions to continue trial.
