Job description

## ParalegalApply: Remote Job Posting: Full time: Posted 2 Days Ago: R0002831# **Job Summary:**The Paralegal will play an integral role within the Legal Department, serving as a trusted partner to both internal stakeholders and external partners. This position is designed for an experienced professional who can provide well-rounded support across two essential areas: content review and contract review. The role requires the ability to interpret complex legal concepts and translate them into practical, business-focused guidance, ensuring that the company maintains compliance, minimizes risk, and supports its overall strategic objectives. In the area of content review, the paralegal will take ownership of reviewing marketing campaigns, customer communications, website and social media content, and other public-facing materials. The individual in this role will be responsible for evaluating whether materials are accurate, compliant with applicable regulations, and aligned with the company’s internal policies and brand standards. This work will involve providing timely legal feedback to departments such as Marketing, Communications, and Operations, while also ensuring that disclaimers, terms of use, and privacy requirements are clearly addressed. The paralegal will be expected to create consistency in review processes by helping to establish checklists, templates, and workflows that improve turnaround time and reduce legal exposure. By managing this function, the paralegal ensures that the company’s reputation is protected and that its messaging can be delivered confidently to clients and stakeholders. The second core area of responsibility is contract review and management. The paralegal will serve as a key resource for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to vendor agreements, service contracts, nondisclosure agreements, licensing arrangements, and partnership agreements. This role will carefully analyze contractual language, assess associated risks, and recommend revisions to ensure the company’s rights and obligations are clearly defined and protected. This requires the ability to balance protecting the company’s legal and financial interests with maintaining strong business relationships and facilitating efficient contract execution. The paralegal will work directly with procurement teams, business leaders, and external counsel to resolve issues, address disputes, and ensure that contracts are executed on schedule. Additionally, the role will oversee the maintenance of a contract management system, ensuring that key terms, obligations, renewal dates, and compliance requirements are tracked accurately and proactively addressed. Beyond content and contract responsibilities, the paralegal will also provide broader legal support to the organization. This may include conducting legal research on evolving regulatory requirements, assisting with policy development, supporting internal audits, and contributing to special projects identified by legal leadership. The paralegal’s work will directly influence the company’s ability to manage risk, reduce cycle times, and operate within a compliant and efficient framework. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and collaboration. The paralegal must demonstrate the ability to communicate complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and build effective working relationships across departments. Success in this role will be measured not only by the accuracy and timeliness of content and contract reviews, but also by the individual’s ability to anticipate potential risks, propose proactive solutions, and establish processes that strengthen the company’s overall compliance posture.# **Responsibilities:**Performance OutcomesContent Review· Review internal and external content, including marketing, communications, and customer-facing materials, for legal and regulatory compliance.· Identify potential risks related to intellectual property, privacy, and advertising standards, and provide clear recommendations to mitigate them.· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company policies and brand standards.Contract Review and Management· Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and licensing arrangements.· Analyze contractual terms, highlight risks, and provide recommendations that protect the company’s interests while supporting business objectives.· Maintain organized contract records, track key provisions, and monitor renewal deadlines.Stakeholder Collaboration· Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Procurement, and Operations to provide timely and practical legal guidance.· Collaborate with external counsel and business partners to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and execution.· Serve as a trusted advisor, translating legal concepts into actionable business solutions.Legal Research and Policy Support· Conduct legal research to stay informed of regulatory changes and emerging compliance requirements.· Assist with drafting and updating policies, procedures, and templates that promote compliance and efficiency.· Support legal leadership with special projects and initiatives as needed.Education, Knowledge, and Experience· Bachelor’s degree required;· Paralegal certificate or equivalent formal training strongly preferred.· Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in content review within a legal, compliance, or corporate environment.· Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with demonstrated ability to manage complex agreements.· Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements applicable to marketing and commercial transactions.· Excellent legal writing, editing, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance.· Proficiency with contract management systems, legal research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with compliance tracking platforms is a plus.· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.· Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.FLSA StatusExemptPhysical Requirements/ Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of these an employee encounters while preforming the essential functions of this job.
