Job summary

Stanley Reuter Alford Owen Munson & Paul L.L.C. seeks a senior paralegal to support complex litigation and commercial matters.

The role requires superior organizational skills, exemplary written and oral communication, and proven experience with subpoenas, depositions, and court filings in state and federal courts, including Louisiana online searches. You will manage large discovery files and prepare trial binders.

Qualifications

• Senior-level paralegal with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Preparation of subpoena requests including deposition subpoenas and writs.
• Experience with state and federal courts and online court searches.
• Knowledge of rules of state and federal courts.
• Experience with electronic filings within all LA courts.
• Familiarity with discovery procedures.
• Experience managing large case files from discovery to trial.
• Ability to coordinate depositions and prepare deposition exhibits/binders.
• Proficiency in reviewing and summarizing large volumes of records.
• Ability to follow directions and work accurately under pressure.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, WordPerfect and Adobe Acrobat Pro; OCR; Trial Director a plus.

Our diverse practice includes commercial litigation, the representation of attorneys and law firms in disciplinary and organizational matters, appellate advocacy, intellectual property litigation, construction law, and other areas.

Paralegal Requirements:

• Senior-level paralegal with excellent organizational skills; excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Preparation of subpoena requests including deposition subpoena requests, and requests for writ of subpoena duces tecum;
• Experience dealing with state and federal courts, including online court searches;
• Must have knowledge of rules of state and federal courts;
• Experience with electronic filings within all LA courts;
