Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role located in Missoula, MT. The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with trial preparation. Daily tasks include conducting factual and legal research, reviewing and summarizing documents, drafting correspondence and pleadings, and maintaining accurate records and calendars. The role also involves communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision, as well as coordinating deadlines and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements. The Paralegal will collaborate closely with the legal team to support efficient case management and high-quality client service.

Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of Law and legal procedures, with the ability to support attorneys across various practice areas.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Strong Research skills for gathering, analyzing, and summarizing legal and factual information from multiple sources.
  • Attention to detail in Document Review, including identifying inconsistencies, relevant facts, and key legal issues.
  • Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties.
  • Relevant education such as a paralegal certificate, associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience using legal research tools and case management or document management software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and accurate record-keeping.
