On Call Counsel is seeking a Probate & Estate Administration Paralegal to support an expanding elder law department in Hauppauge, NY. The role centers on preparing Surrogate's Court petitions and related documents for probate or estate administration, with substantial client contact throughout the process.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day during regular business hours
Salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually
Due to the rapid expansion of the organization, an established and growing elder law department is seeking a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Probate & Estate Administration Paralegal to join its team.
The successful candidate will join a progressive and innovative elder law department consisting of nine attorneys and a strong team of paralegals. This position offers an opportunity to play an integral role in supporting attorneys and working directly with clients throughout the estate administration process.
The primary responsibility will be preparing Surrogate's Court petitions and related documents for the probate or administration of estates. The position also involves substantial client contact and will require someone who is comfortable communicating with clients and gathering information necessary to assist attorneys in representing clients in estate administration, estate planning, and elder law matters.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on probate and estate administration experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong commitment to client service. Because this position involves substantial client contact, the successful candidate should be comfortable working directly with individuals and families while maintaining professionalism, empathy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
