Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas is seeking a Paralegal to support the legal team with drafting, reviewing, and analyzing documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include contract management from intake through execution, legal research under counsel, and clear communication with internal clients and third parties. A health-care setting experience and paralegal certification are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Paralegal Studies with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • In-house experience within a health care setting is preferred.
  • Industry-recognized certification from organizations such as NALA or AACP desirable.
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities.
  • Strong research and report-generating skills.
  • Experience in using legal database software.
  • Ability to read and comprehend legal documents, statutes, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good communications, including presenting information and responding to questions with internal clients and third parties.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and otherwise computer literate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working in a team-centric environment.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
