The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of asbestos cases, including tracking critical deadlines, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and maintaining comprehensive case files.
• Support the discovery process by collecting, organizing, and reviewing relevant documents, and drafting responses to information requests.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports pertaining to asbestos litigation.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and conducting legal research on relevant issues.
• Maintain and update asbestos-related case databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing case updates and responding to inquiries.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and attorney decision-making.
• Assist attorneys in settlement negotiations, including preparation of related documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Paralegal Experience
• Experience in Personal Injury Law
• Experience with trail prep, legal motion & drafts and scheduling for attorneys
